“I felt challenged in my classes and clinical experiences, gaining the knowledge to become a competent and caring nurse.”
- Gretchen, BSN Graduate '12
Chamberlain University's 3-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program enables you to earn your degree in as few as 3 years of year-round, full time study instead of the typical four years with summers off.
Pre-licensure students studying at one of our nationwide campus locations hone their nursing skills and respond to real-life medical scenarios in the Chamberlain SIMCARE CENTER™. The safe, simulated learning environment replicates hospital and clinical settings, complete with high-fidelity human patient simulators, patient monitoring equipment and physical assessment exam tables.
When students are ready to enter the clinical setting, our clinical model facilitates the process of finding required clinical assignments. Students receive real-world training under the supervision of a professional nurse in a variety of healthcare delivery environments, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, independent practices, ambulatory care centers, VA medical centers and home health environments – anywhere healthcare is delivered.
“I came prepared to change lives and left having changed my own.”
- Mary, BSN Student, Global Health Education Program

With more than 130 years of academic excellence, we’ve built a personal, student-focused learning environment – one that prepares our students to be both compassionate caregivers and technically-proficient nurses. Each Chamberlain campus offers an array of academic resources, from nursing skills labs and patient simulators to a Center for Academic Success and career services. Campuses also offer a variety of student activities, including student government, community service and an honors society.
Chamberlain’s focus on student success extends well beyond the classroom and clinical environments, providing nursing students with opportunities to expand their educational horizons through a full spectrum of social, cause-related, and field experiences both locally and globally.
Global Health Education Program
Chamberlain students have ventured far beyond the classroom and local communities to participate in the Global Health Education Program in Kenya, Brazil, and India. This first-hand immersion experience allows students to gain a deeper understanding of cultural and economic differences.
