Newly built in 2021 and designed specifically for PA program students, our modern Chicago campus is equipped with a brand new lecture hall, lab group areas, individual H&P exam rooms and advanced procedural task trainers with ultrasound capabilities.

 

Featuring stunning views of the Chicago skyline, our beautiful new campus is right in the heart of the city. When you join our PA program, you’ll be near coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, gorgeous historic buildings and so much more!

 

After class, head outside for a scenic walk through Clark Park and enjoy a riverside picnic while you watch local crew teams row by. Want to walk or bike to class? This centrally located campus is near it all. Driving in? There’s plenty of parking available outside our building if you’d rather commute by car.

Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS)

 

 

A Meaningful Career Starts Here

 

The MPAS degree program prepares you to start a career in general medicine in close collaboration with a licensed physician and healthcare team. 

 

Through two years of study (one year of didactic coursework and one year of clinical work), you’ll learn to diagnose illness, order and interpret diagnostic tests, conduct physical exams, develop and manage plans of care, prescribe medications, provide preventive health care counseling and assist in surgery to care for patients across clinical settings.

When it comes time to complete your clinical experiences, you will benefit from Chamberlain's extensive relationships with healthcare providers in Chicago to learn from quality preceptors across a variety of settings.

The ARC-PA has granted Accreditation-Provisional status to the Chamberlain University Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Chamberlain University.

 

Accreditation-Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding Accreditation-Provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.

 

Accreditation-Provisional does not ensure any subsequent accreditation status. It is limited to no more than five years from matriculation of the first class.
